Key photograph #6

Here are the series of photo's I took for a fight scene.

Here is the chosen picture I decided to use. I felt that this picture shoes emotion coming from Matt. I also felt that Euan sets a dominant role in this shot.


Here is the picture with colour effects added. I changed the hue and saturation, curves, and auto colour correct to achieve this look.

Here is the finished overall look with the frame added.

Here are the series of photo's I took. I crossed out two, and left the other two because I felt these ones were stronger.


Here is my chosen photograph. I chose it because I felt it showed better lighting and a more blurred out over the shoulder shot.



Here is the finished look on the photo. I changed loads of the effects to achieve this look.

Dan Boulton - alex


Dan Boulton was born in Enfield, North london in 1973. His work that crosses the lines between documentary, street photography and fine fine art has been featured in document skateboard, Plus1 magazines and the book emulsion stew.

A collection of Dan's work is soon to be published as a limited edition book by chicago based parking block publishing. Recently boulton's work was included alongside the of Ed templeton, Tobin Yelland and dave schubert in the film 'Por Vida Group' shows curated by angela boatwright at the new York's fuse gallery and it will also run at London's wayward gallery in june of this year.
From the 6th to the 15th of may, madame lillies gallery in london will exhibit a series of photographs by this talented uk based photographer.
Dan uses a Leica M6 50mm summicron with llford hp5 film. His visual style is that he uses only one camera. Dan will also use a M6 body to shoot color photographs alongside black and white ones. He describes his style as "growing out of his time". When Dan got older he got introduced into photographers like larry clark, nan goldin and documentary photographers such as eugene richards which inspired him how he takes his photographs today.
